Iain was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and developed a passion for weight training through his involvement in track and football during school. He started bodybuilding in 2009 at the age of 18 and competed in his first show at 19 in 2010, winning the Canadian Jr. Championships in 2011. Iain turned pro in 2014 and went on to compete for 10 years, winning six pro shows, achieving multiple Olympia top 10 finishes, and securing second place at the Arnold Classic. After living in South Florida for a few years, Iain now resides back in Ottawa with his wife, Melissa, and their two dogs, Ellie and Beatrice. Outside of bodybuilding, he enjoys snowboarding, hunting, and riding his motorcycle.
