Banana Nut Protein Waffles
Make Sure You've Got Syrup!
Ingredients You'll Need: Waffle Iron, 1 medium sized Banana, 1 1/4 cup of Soy Milk, 2 Scoops of RAW Vanilla Vegan Protein Powder, 1 Cup of All Purpose Flour, 2 Teaspoons of Baking Powder
Optional: 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Sugar, Maple Syrup or Honey, Powdered Sugar, Almond or Peanut Butter
STEP 1: Preheat waffle maker
STEP 2: In a large bowl, mash banana until smooth. Then, add in milk and mix well.
STEP 3: Add in RAW Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder & stir/ mix till there are no clumps.
STEP 4: Pour flour, baking powder, and other optional mix-ins into the large bowl. Mix until a smooth batter forms.
The batter will be thick but still able to be poured.
STEP 5: Lightly spray/ brush some oil or non- stick solution to the waffle iron.
Fill waffle iron about 3/4 the way with batter.
STEP 6: Cook for 3-5 minutes or until you feel the waffle has been cooked to your liking.
STEP 7: Re-grease your waffle iron before starting on the next batch.
When you've ran out of the batter or when you've simply made enough, add whatever toppings you'd like!
