A clear glass mixing bowl sitting on a white marble countertop, filled with separate, unmixed portions of creamy peanut butter, chocolate protein powder, almond flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, and dark amber maple syrup. The ingredients are arranged in clusters, showing their textures and rich, natural colors before blending.

Time to Start!

STEP 1: Combine peanut butter, protein powder, maple syrup, almond flour, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl.

Mix together well to form a ball of dough

STEP 2: Line a square baking dish with parchment paper.

Press the dough across the bottom of the dish.

STEP 3: In a separate smaller bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir together, then microwave for another 30 seconds.

Pour melted chocolate over the dough and spread in an even layer.

STEP 4: Put in freezer for 5 minutes or until chocolate layer sets.

A person is holding a glass mixing bowl and slowly pouring a glossy, thick, melted chocolate mixture over a dense, evenly-pressed brown bar base. The base is set inside a square baking pan lined with white parchment paper, and the chocolate spreads out as it makes contact.

STEP 5: Slice into 8-12 bars, depending on personal preferred size.

STEP 6: Can keep in refrigerator for 1 week and can also freeze for up to 3 months
